DAPPLEN is taken from Dappled Light.

Dapple refers to the mottled, natural patterns found in nature,while the suffix "en" carries the image of granting transformation.

Dappled light is the mottled light that filters through gaps in the canopy and falls onto the forest floor. In the dim depths of the forest, as the light wanders across every inch of the plants, it brings a momentary surge of energy that quenches their thirst. In everyday life, we are often moved by ordinary yet luminous moments, even if just for an instant, as if a clear rain had been poured over our hearts.

The most beautiful encounter between a creation and its viewer works the same way. I hope to entrust these blessings to the work, letting it enter daily life, like companionship, and a gentle reminder for people to check in on their own body and mind from time to time.
